An Answered Prayer

Wow! Let me just start this by saying God is good!!!! Seriously SO good. 

 

When I first applied for the world race back in January (WHAT?! time is flying) I had been praying about this. In order to go on the World Race, I knew I needed to raise $18,700 and that’s a lotttttttt of money. After a few months of thinking I could do this on my own and getting nowhere with it, I felt God asking me to invite him into my fundraising. It was kind of like “Hey Lindsay, you can’t do this without me so let’s do it together” and man was He right. I sat in bed that night and simply invited the Lord into my fundraising and acknowledged I couldn’t do this without Him. 

 

Literally the next day, THE NEXT DAY!!! God showed up. He provided. Just like He always does. He has showed up through my friends, my family, and even strangers. So many people have showed me God’s generous heart in the way they have supported, encouraged, connected me, and prayed for me through this journey. 

 

I had been praying that before I launch in January, I would be fully funded. There is absolutely no way I could have done this alone. God is a good Father who takes care of His children and provides for them and oh my goodness, he definitely has! With that being said, I have some SUPER exciting news. 

 

I’M FULLY FUNDED!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Wow! Praise God!!! I can’t even believe I’m typing that right now, but all glory to Him!! A HUGE thank you to everyone who has supported me. So many times different characteristics of God were revealed in the many ways you have supported me.
